Contemporary fiddles
In Sweden, quite a few people have tried to build fiddles with sympathetic strings, viola d'amore or similar instruments in the last decades and both professional instrument builders and amateurs are doing this. On this site you will find presentations of a couple of new fiddles with sympathetic strings, both copies of traditional instruments as well as new inventions. In addition to this you will be able to find som tips and tricks for building such an instruments.
